GPK has been partner of the BTL – division of the Publicis network "Publicis Consultants | Worldwide" since mid 2008.

GPK provides professional PR and event management services for Publicis’ international and national customers and functions successfully as a CEE-hub for the network.

GPK – Partner of Publicis Consultants | Worldwide operates as a leading Austrian communications agency in three business areas:

• GPK PR & Public Affairs is communications specialist for public affairs and the dynamic medium-sized business. 
   
• GPK Events with Passion develops and produces the largest roadshows in the country, spectacular business events for major brand names and internationally acclaimed congresses. With over 500 stops per year GPK belongs to the top 5 in the business. 
   
• GPK Print & Publishing stands for bestsellers and successful customer journals and creates effective advertising materials and corporate designs. 

Currently GPK – Partner of Publicis Consultants | Worldwide is well-established as TOP 5 Below the Line in the market and, with over 20 employees, handles projects to the value of 7 million Euros.

History

Headed by Markus Gruber, GPK has been operating at the Mittersteig in the 5th district since 1999. Starting with 12 employees and the extended liaison with and support of existing customers and projects.

1998 yielded gratifying results: 54 events over the course of this year, the 10th edition of CAREERbook including CAREERcd and CAREERnet; far reaching marketing assignments in the public sector, the public health sector, and in the IT branch, with a staff of 14 people. This new capacity and the accompanying growing demands prompted owners Thomas Stern and Markus Gruber to split the agency – into Braintrust as a mulit-media agency and GPK as event and communications agency.

1995 the bestseller CAREER received an offshoot in the form of a CD-Rom with interactive training in job application.

In 1993 initial projects of the newly acquired AZ included the conversion of education marketing of Apple Computer Austria (later also Germany) and various facilities of the Chamber of Commerce.

In August 1989 the marketing agency Braintrust was established by Michael Goldinger, Thomas Stern and Markus Gruber.
